H1N1 Definitition of "Health-Care Personnel"

During phone calls with CDC, ANCOR requested clarification as to whether direct support professionals are included under “health-care personnel”. CDC stated that they could not clarify that as they are only writing guidelines. CDC emphasized that state health departments execute these recommendations and make the final decisions as to who receives the vaccines first.

ANCOR strongly recommends that everyone contact their state health department and urge them to include direct support professionals in the “health-care personnel” category.
