Pennsylvania: Still No Budget Deal. With the state’s budget is a month overdue, little progress seems to be made in reaching a budget compromise. While lawmakers continue to try and hammer out a compromise with Governor Ed Rendell, state workers July 31st had their first “Payless Friday”, as state workers are remaining on the job during the budget impasse.
